CFAI books mention insulin TWICE as an ex of perf inelastic demand good can anyone think of other examples, and dont say tobacco, becuase thet is inelastic, but not PERFECTLY inelastic.

I don’t think anything is PERFECTLY inelastic. There are things that are inelastic in the short run, i.e. gasoline, cigarettes, etc. But in the long run, when prices get too high, consumers change their consumption habits because they have no choice.

In one of my microeconomics textbooks, shoe laces was given as an example of a good with an inelastic demand.

Porn is probably close to perfectly elastic.
