IP lawyers and Vetting

My question is, how much info would you divulge to an IP lawyer vetting?

An “IP lawyer vetting” being you interviewing several IP lawyers/firms.

This issue being they need to know SOMETHING about your invention, but how much should be divulged. My idea is especially dependent on intellectual property rights, and not terribly technical to the point and IP lawyer would know specialization has ruled him out of stealing my idea.

SO, how much is too much?

the irony being I can’t tell you guys much either. Opinions?

Is it related to crab rangoons? If so, tell them nothing… the secret must die with you…

Honestly, its the measurement of crab to goon.

I am honored you remember the idea.

any other thoughts.

Well you could file for the patent first, then talk to them.

Or you could just have the raw idea, and do a NDA.

No reputabl lawyer is going to risk their fuggin career being disbarred by stealing a client’s idea. I wouldn’t sweat it.
