Did anyone use any of the ipad or iphone apps that are out there to study for Level 1? I downloaded “Pass the CFA Level 1” (~$19) which was a pretty decent flashcard app but did hang up for a few seconds every now and then.
I admit I bought one. If you are stranded at an airport with no other study materials- I guess it’s ok but it just doesn’t cut it for learning anything- I wouldn’t waste your money
There is some free materials from Alan, but I already have the cue card set from Stalla. I like to make small notes or reminders on them, I don’t feel the need to have an electronic copy as well. For when I am away from my study materials I typically listen to mp3’s or work on basic memorization of formulas and models.
I downloaded a few, and I really liked CFA formula: level 1 . It’s great, you have all the formulas like flashcards with the LOS number on the back, listed alphabetically and by subject. You can bookmark the ones you have trouble with, so you only go through the ones you need. Planning to buy the level 2 app too, if I pass L1 this time around 
Is there anything available for the android (Google) phones?
