I have already gone through the Schweser material once but i have not been able to get put in enough time to solve the qbank and after reading curriculum questions…now i stay tensed and pressured with time closer to the exam…anyways kaplan qbank i wont be able to finish it in the next 15 days…so if i do curriculum q in my weak areas and do atleast 3-4 mocks…is it quite satisfactory?
In my opinion mock exams are meant to find out your weak spots. Do one or two and then focus on the areas where you did not score over 70% and then concentrate on these.
It’s normal to feel tensed and pressured. I had these feelings with over 450 hours of preparation. You will feel it until the last minute. Build on it, use tension to stay motivated.
Best of luck.
You should do one mock immediately. See how much you can recall and see where you need work. Its crunch time and you gotta hit it hard these next few days
Thanks buddy…ya even i feel the same…will do one tomrrw morning…btw as per your experience what do you think about schweser qbank…are they near to exam level or very advanced? or simple? Please suggest me a better approach…
Like i would do the mock first…see my weak spots and revise those and during those revisions should i do curriculum after reading questions or Qbank to make it stronger…
Thanks for your effort to write back.
There are always cca % 5 extremely talented people with a photographic memory. You know if you belong to this population. If you don’t, try to practice as much as you could.
I didnt have a qbank, I just used mocks and the CFAI provided online topic tests to prep.
You should take a mock, and find what areas you are doing well & weak in. Hit the weak areas with a quick review & more questions through the qbank/topic tests until you feel a bit better.
You should aim to probably hit a mock ASAP, review the next few days, hit another mock, etc. You want to run through a few mocks before test day to have a *rough* idea of where you stand.
I will get on to it…Thanks for the help (Y)
