Is each question on the test worth the same amount of points?

Is the test equal weighted? Even after the CFA makes whatever adjustments they make?

Yes.

Thank you.

My pleasure.

WRONG. Ethics are worth slightly more to determine the tiebreaker of those right at the passing score.

lol what?

i’ve never heard of this before

I wouldn’t plan to be on the edge, so they’re all worth the same amount.

Well pin a rose on your nose.

wink

Okay, I know we like to speculate and everything about this. But I basically lined up with a colleague in terms of score, except I got more than 70 on FRA and Equity, but failed ethics, and he got between 50-70 on Ethics and FRA and more than 70 on equity. He passed, I didn’t. I don’t know how it could be possible if Ethics wasn’t somehow super weighted. It just doesnt make sense. I didn’t fail anything else.

Wow.

(Going to take another look at ethics)

You could have failed ethics really bad and were on the borderline >70 for FRA and Equity i.e 2 persons having the same range e.g. >70 doesn’t mean they had the same score.

ethics only helps in borderline case such as within 0.5% of passing, maynot be huge advantage

I have seen people score in band 10 and more than 70 in ethics, so band for ethical adjustment must be narrow like 1% or so near borderline.

Thank God coz I scored <50% in the 2013 mock (cannot believe this!!)…
