Is it really worth

I have experiences in lending, which include factoring, asset based lending, residential mortgage, SBA lending, commercial & industrial, and commercial real estate. I am a commercial/SBA loan underwriter in a bank for 7 years experience at this time. I will turn 33 years old this year. With my friend’s suggestion, I am considering to pursue CFA. My friend obtained his CFA 2003 and suggested that I would have better opportunity in the future. I have another friend who has MBA from University of Chicago, and he advised that it would be a waste time since I will not have a chance of a career change with my career level. I do understand that you would have in-depth knowledge in financing with CFA. What opportunity will I get with CFA? Is it too late? Is it really worth it?
