I remember that the tech industry is special. Some companies are considered as cyclical industry (i.e. Electronic Technology, Technology Services) and some are considered as defensive industry ( i.e. Health Technology).
The CFA Institution tends to simplify this and to consider the Technology Industry is not fluctuate with the economy cycle.
