Short version… people who start dating as soon as they meet tend to be similarly attractive physically. However, our perceptions of who’s attractive and who isn’t changes over time and if people know each other for a little while, the dispersion in relative attractiveness can grow by a lot.
Nothing earth-shattering here, but some of the details in the article are interesting.
