I rarely watch Jeopardy!, but still, this sucks. My condolences to his family and friends.
Last episode with Trebek will be aired on Christmas Day.

When he was initially announced as the host of Jeopardy! I was skeptical. His game show hosting résumé to date had been on shows such as The Wizard of Odds and High Rollers, neither of which I watched particularly, and neither of which struck me as particularly cerebral.
I was pleasantly surprised.
