I interview for a position that researches and evaluates money managers for a large southeast bank. My ultimate goal is to become an equity analyst; however, I have been searching for some time and have not been able to find the ideal job (I am trying to avoid NY). My question: Is this a high sought position and would it be sufficient experience to try and get an equity analyst position down the road? Thank you in advance.
