They are only crying about the externalities of corporatism (specifically media/tech) because they are now suffering them. Yeah, they used Kanye badly. It was pretty embarrassing and I feel for him. They took a guy who just wanted to speak for himself and appropriated him and spoke for him because they were desperate. Lesson learned for him I guess, politics is an ugly business.
