Keep trying to taking a lesser job?

Everybody tells me right now is a very tough time to break into Quant Finance. As I am graduating without a job, I still want to keep trying than take a Technology type of role. Will persistent payoff in the end?

I would say to never stop pursuing your goal, but at the same time you don’t want to be a year out of college with no work experience. That year in the technology type of role would look alot better on your resume than nothing.

It also depends on what you’ll be doing in IT. There are many jobs in tech that have you working closely with the business and if you’re working on the models they use, that will go a long way to getting you in to a desk role later on.

MBAFin…you should start a blog.
