Do you think we are going to have to calculate sample kurtosis or just have to interpret?

I <3 Kurtosis I do not heart calculating Kurtosis.

LOS clearly states that you only have to interpret not calculate. If they (CFAI) stick to anything, then I would put my money on the LOS.

So basically know about -3 excess kurtosis, maybe memorize the terms lepto, meso… etc

In the LOS says also “define”, and I think it is essential to know the formula for skewness and kurtosis in order to be able to do that (you have to define sample skewness and sample kurtosis!)

They may ask you what it means if a distribution is leptokurtic or whatever, calculation is very very very unlikely.
