skillionaire, what were your practice scores like?
I don’t remember my exact score on the mock, but it was somewhere in the 70-75 range. Failed with a Band 10.

Think I was in the high 60s to low 80s on Schweser, and then (if memory serves) 75 and 80 on the CFAI mock AM and PM, respectively. But I knew 100% I was gonna smoke this exam (which looking at my old posts will make very clear) - unfortunately at Level III, there’s no such feeling, even though I’ve put in the hours I meant to. Level I covers the whole curriculum with 240 Qs, Level II gets lumpier with 120 Qs, and then Level III is the lumpiest with about 70 Qs. Makes luck that much more of a factor.
Just to hopefully inject some cheer with an observation: The majority of the people who passed are not going to see this thread, but the majority of people who failed will. Keep the faith.
True, this thread suffers from severe death bias (opposite of survivorship bias)
I am still in 60’s. I need to catch up quite a bit. Once some one is getting 70’s. It is not the knowledge that matters, i think we need to make sure read the questions properly and understand the finer points and looks for the tricks.

Wow this makes me really uneasy. I’ve put in over 22 hours a week for he past 20 weeks, just passed about 500 hours total, I’ve started to pull some good numbers and ouch. As stated before the problem is as the # of questions drops the margin for error razor thin. You could be the master at 75% of the LOS’s and have the other 25% show up on about 1/2 of the cases, a couple of bad guesses and you are toast.
