Hi, I’m new to the board. Just curious as to the how the Level 1 CAIA compares to the Series 7 in regards to number of study hours, how to study, and level of difficulty. Obviously the topics are very different but curious to hear thoughts on the others mentioned above. Has anyone here passed both? Thanks for any feedback.
I haven’t taken L1 of CAIA yet, but have taken and passed all CFA and the FRM tests and I will say that the Series 7 is not a good comparison to how well prepared you may be. The 7 is the equivalent to taking a walk in the park so I wouldn’t gauge anything from how you scored on that.
All you need to pass Series 7 is 1-2 days of studying. haha Series 7 & CAIA are not comparable.
