I noticed on the CFA institutes’s website that there is a set percentage of exam questions for each sections this time round , as opposed to a range given in previous years. Ethical and Professional Standards (total) 15 Quantitative Methods 12 Economics 10 Financial Reporting and Analysis 20 Corporate Finance 8 Equity Investments 10 Fixed Income 12 Derivatives 5 Alternative Investments 3 Portfolio Management and Wealth Planning (total) 5 According to this, Schweser book on FSA is “third” in terms of weightage. Now thats freaking me out, as past candidates have been telling me that FSA book holds the maximum weightage. Well according to the chart above, Schweser book 1 has the max weight. Seems like one should not be reading the last book- I spent substantial amount of time with derivatives and I am still struggling. Shouls focus on FSA and Quant and Econ. S
