Level II Item Set Format

I don’t know about anyone else hear, but I am having quite a lot of problems adjusting to these item set question format on Level II. The questions on Level I were pretty straightforward (at least wording and format structure). These item sets are long, in some cases ambigous, and it seems that it would take forever to just read them, and then proceed to solve. It would be nice to know how candidates here (or those who passed Level II) would give some insight on how they are approaching these item sets, maybe some strategies on how to read and solve the associated problems. I personally am not used to reading paragraphs and paragraphs and then answering questions, and just the idea that the entire Level II exam will be such is giving me stomach cramps.
