Level IIer jumping ships for help

hey guys, good luck with level 3 this saturday. if any of u can spare some a quick 3 min, cna i get some advice for level 2 this saturday. anyways at all would help much appreciated all the best

sure - panic, freak out, don’t sleep the inght before. or perform the way you did on the level I. i can never remember which advice to give. sorry.

If you came to me months earlier I would give sage advice like “know the stuff well” and “do lots of questions”… but at this point, what works for me is read the item set and then find the question pertaining to the section you are reading is how I handle it.

Do the CFAI exams/mocks b/c you might see similar questions on the exam. I took all of them last year, but my employer also paid

memorize every equation you come across.

study Treynor Black

whether they be mocks or practice, take as many exams as you can before hand and spend time studying the correct answers to ones you got wrong. good nights rest the night before also helps.

brush up on the qualitative aspects of a formula, much like level 1, you will not use your calculator with anywhere near the amount of frequency that Schweser implies

thanks all for the advice anything else that comes to ur mind is much appreciated

That is what i do

Take your time on the questions in the exam. A lot seem computationally simple (because they are), but there is usually a trick hidden somewhere. So if you see the answer in 20 seconds I’d recommend spending a few more looking for the trick.

READ QUESTIONS CAREFULY. ESPECIALLY ETHICS>

do not sexual harass the person sitting next to you.
