Has anyone heard anything about this exam?

^ very funny:) there were numerous discussions on LIFA with a conclusion of it being a scam. On other hand, did you see any employer asking for candidates with LIFA?
heh, a quick google search of LIFA and I came up with quite a few articles on “beware the LIFA”, “scam!”, ect.
If you can’t produce a discernible answer to this question without consulting the board, I suggest you skip the CFA exams as well. Please, for all of us.

The LIFA people inundate me with appeals to write their exam and say that I’m already qualified for Level III, whoopie! I always find the image of the guy at the bottoms of those emails very funny, though I think they decided to do a girl now.
I asked them to take me off of their lists. That was about a month ago, so far, so good. The reason it’s a scam is because the LIFA certification does not seem to be meaningful, and you are signing up for a lifetime annuity payment to them.
