It seems that the Schweser notes on Inventories don’t have anything on LIFO reserve or on LIFO reserve liquidation, and the CFa textbook goes into that topic and tests it in the EOC questions. Any thoughts on that would be greatly appreciated.
Yes its at the end of FRA in Schweser. The last reading from memory.

Pretty sure LIFO liquidation was removed from the curriculum.
Yes, LIFO reserve and liquidation are removed to CFA L2

Hmmm…I’m pretty sure LIFO reserve is still on there (or at least it was in the June 2011 curriculum). LIFO liquidation was removed along with ARO.
Yes clarkth4 is right. My bad and I apologise. LIFO reserve is definitely there but LIFO liquidation isn’t
