This guy waiting for level 1 results didn’t have a yellow box w/ a checkmark: http://www.analystforum.com/phorums/read.php?11,1031958,1031963#msg-1031963 Turned out he failed: http://www.analystforum.com/phorums/read.php?11,1033041,1033707#msg-1033707 Might mean something… But not sure when…
This thread, probably, explains why ibankers don’t like people with the CFA charter.
When you fail the checkmark disappears… We need someone in Level 3 who lost the checkmark… Till then…
I just logged in and it said: “Everyone who posted in link to level 3 registeration disapper topic in AF L3 forum has failed and will not be given a chance to write the exam for 3 years”

I’ll consider that a partial victory.
if the checkmark appears it likely means that the person either passed or there status was not updated. if it appears and later dissapears, it could mean a fail. although, we don’t know this for sure. it could even be the other way around.

wow, good job with the researching. so basically yellow box implies pass or potential fail (if account not updated). no yellow box = fail.

The yellow box merely indicates what item is selected (as i think someone already pointed out). Click the > arrows on the left to magically move the, supposedly prophetic, yellow area.
OK ladies and gents here is the secret color coding: Yellow = selected and pass Blue = not selected and fail Orange = selected and fail White = Status being updated but most likely fail Pink = You are GAY
im going to puke if this is the case - the box isnt yellow for me
drs Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > im going to puke if this is the case - the box > isnt yellow for me seriously?
puke. thats a funny word. can i use that?
its is true when you click on the tab for an item, that color highlights in yellow. the real question is what color is the box when you first appear in the page. the concencus is that when you first appear in the page, if the box is white , this means a possible fail? what do you guys think?
my wild speculation is that your box is checked and yellow if you passed because you can’t sign up for the next exam. If you failed, it’s white/unchecked because you will have the unpleasant opportunity to sign up again. Mere speculation.
Also, this happens only a day or two before the results come out, not now.
so if we could get everyone to go to this page: http://www.cfainstitute.org/cfaprog/register/index.html and click on June 2010 and see what colour your box is… mine is yellow
The last box on my registration is yellow.
LOL…Got to love all this speculation…if I was working at the IT in CFAI, I would keep changing it on people and freak the life out of them… Enjoy your last few weeks before you find out either the good or bad news…and then deal with it when the time comes…I know I know…I want to know too but what’s the point of driving yourselfs nuts by playing the guessing game…do you have nothing better to do than drive yourselfs nuts … I for one only come on AF now just to kill some time at work as its super slow these days…otherwise I am enjoying the summer while I can…
I saw this by looking at the source of the page. Does this mean anything? anybody? I have no clue what that is?
