Lloyd Blankfein should go?

Is axing Lloyd Blankfein the best way to get Goldman out of trouble? What do yo guys think?

Wouldn’t axing him indicate that GS is guilty. They’re claiming they didn’t do anything wrong, so if they didn’t do anything wrong why would they go around axing people?

Even before the SEC thing, he had to go. Look at the year hes had.

Replace him with Joe the Plumber…would be a great PR move and get the humanoids on Main Street off their backs… and he has the right hairdo for the job…

Yeah, return on common equity 20% for the quarter, second highest quarterly profit in history, earnings up 65% from year earlier, that guy is running the place into the ground.

too many haters…

He is hated within GS.

How is any of that a direct result of him? Goldman has an army of smart people ready to take his place. Also they have lost most of their heads of hedge fund or prop trading usually, so hes losing his best troops. Huge trading and M&A revenues for a investment bank are not exactly an indication that the CEO is doing a great job. i.e Stanley O’neil when ML was killing it back in the day.
