is this 2 separate approval processes? If my local society shot down 2 of my years as relevant work experience, does that mean it wont be counted toward receiving my charter or is this separate procedures?
Looks like two seperate policies to me. I’ve been approved by CFAI and have been under “Local Society Review” for a week or so. My friend on the board of the local society here told me that they hire a third party consulting firm to review and recommend approval for work experience. They basically give them to detailed criteria to assess against what we have put down. I can’t imagine that a local society would go against a CFAI approval. That would be a bit strange.
