London Business School or Harvard Business School

Which would you rather attend?

London

LBS…probably still world number 1…

Reputation is about equal, but I’d much rather live in London.

Really? I thought that everyone would say Harvard.

haha they are both amazing either way…but I guess for Americans, LBS provides more international exposure…

hbs. then again, i have never heard of lbs, i suppose it’s not the same as lse?

LSE is a school focused on economics and politics; I don’t think it actually has a business program. Have also heard that teachings there are more academic in nature, whereas LBS is more discourse-based as you might expect of a business school class. I didn’t apply to LBS, but it’s probably the most prestigious business school outside the U.S. along with INSEAD. ESADE is up there too. These are just my views as an American.

Ya I would do LBS over HBS. I’ve been told LBS has a better global footprint. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed either way though. London would cooler to live in than Boston though, and I love Boston.

pretty,smart…<3 http://www.london.edu/facultyandresearch/faculty/search.do?uid=fcornelli

LBS has a better reputation (I would say), but again, you will not be disappointed by HBS as stated by CFABLACKBELT, both schools has the academics well sorted out, but LBS has that international appeal and presence.

Idk…doesn’t HBS have an international appeal as well?

HBS Alumni: George Bush, Hank Paulson, John Paulson, Jamie Dimon, Jeff Immelt, Steve Schwarzman, Bob Kraft, Ray Dalio, Rick Wagoner, Meg Whitman, Michael Bloomberg, and a ton more that I didn’t bother to include. LBS Alumni: Omar Samra, first Egyptian to summit Mount Everest.

What is this? The pat your back because you’re British thread? LBS is a good school, but saying it has more “international appeal” than Harvard is just ridiculous.

I can respect your opinion that HBS is superior but don’t be ignorant.
