It’s more that there are lots of people who think they are a big deal for having CFA charters. The news just writes what they are told.

If this is what CFAI thinks is “good press”, then QQQBEE is correct that CFAI only cares about making money now, kind of comments in articles seems to provoke all dumb chicks out there to register for CFA.
