The LOS says to formulate a test and determine wheather the hypothesis is rejected …

But when you look at EOC question, Reading 11, question 5 - you need to calculate the test statistics … to determine whether reject…

So do we need to memorize formula to test if corr is equal zero ?

Yes, you do need to memorize the formula b/c in order to reject the hypo u need the t-stat.

In order to get the t-stat u need the formula.
