Who would like about something so small. All he would have to do is say “Sorry, I meet a lot of people and have a lot on my mind – I slipped up there” and almost everyone would move on.
Instead Trump is showing that he’s so self-conscious that he can’t even own up to a brain fart. A leader can own up to their mistakes.
