Yep I’ve read a lot about ppl repositioning their supply chain for the ones hit during early 2018. There were a lot of costs associated with the change plus I bet they will have a lower margin moving forward. Anyways overall it’s a more inefficient marketplace. But just honestly I think people should have a more diversified supply chain than an efficient one since you never know when they are going to change the rules.

That’s not really accurate. There are costs, but much of this was already underway because of rising labor costs in China shifting the economics to other developing Asian regions or near sourcing to Latam. Going forward a lot of this was already beginning to happen to IMPROVE profitability, but now you’re getting a serious acceleration. In cases like Apple, its a cost, because they have an established relationship that is hard to duplicate with Foxconn but by and large, this isn’t creating a much less efficient end result.
