MAGA

Too busy to be a leader?

Typical.

What about the citizens? He’s too worried about people saying bad things about him to be a leader?

Typical.

About as good as it gets, IMO

Not as good as it gets.

As good as it gets would include doing something to achieve law and order, not merely mentioning the name of a TV series franchise.

Typical myopic BS from S2K. Trump is doing the smart thing by waiting for the corrupt democrat leaders of these failed states to ASK for help. They are trying to bait him into acting unilaterally so they can claim he is a fascist dictator (you know like what they accuse him of being in the media every week for 3 years?). This is a war for hearts and minds. Trump is playing this masterfully. He did the same with the fake virus because he knows they’re trying to bait him. These corrupt democrats are playing political games with American lives. They could easily have done their job and stopped this and have chosen not to. They are the definition of evil and will be dealt with accordingly.

Patriots see the light

Dead wrong, Charlie.

Trump has no idea how to lead, and that’s on display in spades right now.

FTFY

This is what it looks like when your government is actively working against you as a citizen. Pure evil. Now that these seditious traitors have outed themselves they’ll be put in a dark hole for the rest of their lives and we can get back to making earth great again for all of humanity.

Hope Walz isn’t our government.

She’s a stupid kid.

I take it you don’t understand government well enough to be able to tell the difference.

Brilliant leadership :us:

Actually, he promoted violence with his “When the looting starts, the shooting starts” comment.

Then he lied about it, saying that he meant “sometimes looters shoot people.”

That’s pathetic.

Good for him. Sincerely. He needs to continue to act this way.

Although it appears that he didn’t bother to listen to them. He did all of the talking. Maybe he was too busy.

One should note that Biden also supported George Floyd’s family, and he listened to what they had to say.

Good for him. Sincerely. He needs to continue to act this way.

Of course, his claim that he’s designated them a terrorist organization isn’t, like, official or anything. He doesn’t have the legal authority to do so.

This is not true. Governor Walz called up the National Guard; Trump did not order them in.

Trump did say that they should have been deployed two days earlier. If he did, in fact, send in the National Guard, then it would be his fault that they were two days late.

During which he blamed the violence on “radical left-wing groups”. Once again, he cannot lead without trying to blame Democrats. That’s not leadership; it’s childishness.

I mean whatever he’s doing it hasn’t been effective.

Brace yourselves for the cleansing

All will be known

No one will be spared

According to Trump (at least in 2014), when there are riots in the US, the president is to blame:

Perhaps he should take some responsibility.

Trump rushed to bunker during DC riots:

This is as it should be: our highest officials should be protected so that they can maintain leadership.

Please, Mr. President: take this as a mandate and demonstrate leadership.

On a completely different topic: hp, Charlie, cod (sort of): why do many of Trump’s supporters brandish the Confederate (I shudder when I capitalize that) flag?

https://www.yahoo.com/huffpost/lincoln-project-confederate-flag-093251739.html

Why did Trump ignore all of the things that Bush suggested about responding to a pandemic?

Bush was a Republican, if I recall correctly.

I grew up around a few people like that, very few actually, and they believe it represents states rights, their past, maybe their family had a role in the war. It is the “rebel flag” but a lot of them got what they wanted, for Trump to be President and they are still flying it… should all be flying the flag of the United States of America, imo :us:

If you don’t mind my asking, where, exactly did you grow up?

It is interesting how different people’s views on a symbol such as a flag can be.

I grew up in a small city about 30 mins away from a big city in Texas.

Cool!

My younger son lived in San Antonio for 10 years, and plans to return there soon.

He wants my wife and me to move to Texas. Personally, I prefer mountains, of which Texas is singularly bereft.
