Beautiful video, real leadership.

Jim Mattis, former Secretary of Defense, finally breaks his silence on Trump.
People on Obama’s own team support terrorism:
They’re in league with the rioters. What more proof do y’all need?
I don’t know whether or not NBC tells its reporters not to use the words “riot” and “rioters”, but I certainly have noticed that I use it a lot more than the news reporters do. You may not realize this, but I can be pretty outspoken at times. Shocking: I know.
(Of course, I also complain when they say that the police are looking for the suspect, when what they mean is that they’re looking for the culprit. I’m quite sure that some corporate lawyer told them that they can’t say that.)
Bias in reporting is one thing, and I won’t argue that it doesn’t exist. But collusion of government officials with criminals is another thing altogether.
I live near Los Angeles, and I know that Governor Newsom and Mayor Garcetti have requested the National Guard. How the situation here differs from that in, say, New York, I cannot say, but the images most vivid and pertinent to me show a Democratic Governor and Mayor doing everything Trump claims that they’re not doing. To suggest that these two men would support terrorists above law-abiding citizens is absurd.
I did a bit of research yesterday and discovered (to my surprise, frankly) that the six largest cities in the US all have Democratic mayors; the first Republican mayor appears at number eight. As a charterholder you know all about spurious correlation and about the problem of trying to infer causation from correlation. (I’m quite sure that Trump doesn’t understand either.) If the cities with the most violence these last few days all have Democratic mayors, it’s far more likely that they have the most violence simply because they’re the largest cities, not because their mayors are Democrats. As to why they all have Democratic mayors: I have no idea. That would take a lot more research. But it seems a lot more likely that the Democratic mayor / violence connection is spurious correlation, not causation.
And I hope that, through all of our back-and-forth here, you’ll keep in mind that I’m a Republican. I’m most definitely not trying to push a Democratic agenda. Two days ago my wife (an independent, but with strong Democratic leanings) commented that in our forty years of marriage, this is the most involved she’s ever seen me discuss politics. I pointed out that it’s the first time in forty years that I could discuss politics with her without her getting upset with me because we disagree.
We’ll keep your sister and her neighbors in our prayers.
They be lying.
There’s a lot more to this story. I’m working my sources to get to the bottom of it. Jesse knows something and is hinting at it not so subtly. Looking like virus hoax 2.0 to wrangle the sheep for sleepy joe. Stay tuned.

Everything trump touches turns to ish every sensible person he works hates him. He’s got the Midas touch in reverse.
Oh ■■■■
Disgraceful. To sleepy joe, only certain lives matter (the one he can capitalize on).
^ Probably for the same reason Trump has been silent about the NYPD running over protesters. It’s called politics. If you couldn’t figure that out on your own, you’re not very smart. Then again, you’re following a twitter account by a person who thinks his audience is dumb enough to believe him that he went to go inspect the White House bunker at 11pm at night and that he was being sarcastic when he told people to drink bleach to get rid of coronavirus.
