Making Macro Buttons in Excel

I’m trying to remember how you make those buttons that you can click to run macros. Not the ones on the toolbar, but the ones you actually place in the worksheet… Anyone know how to do this?

Would hyperlinks suffice? I know if you go View> Toolbars> Control Toolbox, it pulls up the thing where you can get buttons, but it’s been a long time, and I can’t remember exactly how to do it either.

Right-click the toolbar menu and activate the ‘Forms’ toolbar. Click the square (command bar button) - outline it on the worksheet, and then assign the macro
