Margin Calls - Equity vs Futures

Hi Guys,
Had a quick question, please correct me if I’m wrong -

Once a margin call is received in “Futures” market, the Initial Margin must be restored. However, in “Equity markets”, only the Maintenance margin needs to be restored?
