Had a fixed income class in college that required Matlab, Damn near killed myself. Good Luck to ya

I’ve been doing stuff in Matlab; it’s similar to the open-source package R (google “R-project” if interested). Matlab’s pretty neat. My main issue is that, compared to packages like SPSS and STATA, it’s not so good for keeping track of data and labels.

used it before - has an excel plug in that helps with financial analysis

i’ve dabbled a bit at work…but i’m not a huge fan.
