From reading some of the posts here the consensus seems to be that Schweser is not robust enough as a preparation tool for the exam. In order to supplement Schweser my plan is to take as many practice exams as possible before my exam date. Would you recommend signing up for Bionic Turtle or purchasing the practice exam from GARP? I’m looking for lots of questions which would be similar to what would be on the actual exam.
I used the GARP practice exams and they were not sufficient.
EVen though I passed, I did not feel confident after the exam.
I hear that Bionic Turtle is an excellent source.
I still recommend using Schweser for notes, since I did past Part 1 with Q1 in all sections. However, the questions on the exam did throw me off balance, which means the end-of-chapters questions and the practice questions by Schweser were not adequate. So using Bionic Turtle for additional questions will be a good idea. This may prepare you more for the actual questions. That’s my plan for Part 2.
