What is everyone doing during the break between sittings? Would have thought it was a good chance to read up on the material that wasn’t tested in the morning, e.g. no economics in morning, definitely going to be there in the afternoon, so revise away.
Give your brain some rest before next 3-hr marathon…
I think you’re right. Prob a good idea on brush up on the bits you didn’t see in the morning exam. I’m not taking my books, just my study notes…
thoughts?
I’m taking my formula sheet and going through whatever I didn’t see in the morning. That worked well for level 1. That’s the easiest way to get some work done without hitting your brain too hard.
The worst thing is looking at material you were just tested on to see if you were right. Hugest waste of time.
If you don’t know it by after 1/2 your not gonna know it…you’d actually be suprised how much better you do sometimes when you stop studying and just say F it and go with what you know, if your relaxed you do much better
The four sections that will likely be tested with one set are Quant, Econ, Alt investments, and portfolio mgmt. I will be reviewing formulas and lists in the ones that are not tested in the morning.
It doesn’t hurt at all to spend a few minutes on topics that were not covered in the morning. Just resist at all costs the temptation to check to see whether you got something “right” in the morning session.
Take a long walk, eat a good lunch, find a quiet place to shut your eyes for a few minutes (don’t sleep) just to get your mind off of things for a minute or two. About 15 minutes before you go back in, gloss over your notes or flip through some flashcards in the areas you expect to be there in the second session.
I’ll be chatting up all the cute girls, seeing as it will be my first time out of the house in about a month and a half.
