Memorial Day Weekend Study Marathon

Lets get it started, just wrapped up a CFAI sample exam and am going back into equity for a bit, aiming to tackle that and derivatives again tonight.

hi, can i ask you how you go about revising? I take long to revise and end up not doing the work i would like to finish… thank you Black Swan…

At work, studying. Floor is quickly starting to look like a haunted house. Stay here for couple of hours, then off to starbucks. Reviewing PM & FI today. Derivatives, Ethics, & Corp tomorrow. BSAS exam Sunday.

To revise, I start by watching the schweser video on a certain topic, then look it up in secret sauce, then try a problem in the schweser text, then try a cfai problem from the cfai text. then it’s on to the next topic.

Good luck with BSAS. Make sure you check the errata first! There were two in total.

Ah, thanks! How’d you do?

Fixed Income is my nemesis… need to do more of FI… come to think of it - need to do more Derivatives and PM too!!! why dont they offer level 2 in december !!!

Deriv’s, Equity, FSA synthesis, PM and testing tonight and tomorrow. Test results will help determine the remaining areas. Gonna be a fun holiday weekend.

Did you guys get a lot of “So, any fun plans over the holiday” questions at work today?

CFAHouston - lots of that! my poor husband - I screwed up his thanksgiving weekend last year and screwing up his memorial weekend this year!

Aww, well, its nice of him to be supportive (hopefully he is). And i’m sure you can make it up to him in your own way

Supportive he is!! and ways to make up for it - his favorite - Dum Aloo  what didja think!!

Food porn!!! Damn you remind me I should call it a night. Now I’m in for a late-night snack, wish you all the best for tonight and see you again tomorrow.

hehe, aloo i know. Dum?

You know Ruckmani, if you had the same problem Mcpass has when he is studying, your husband wouldn’t be complaining at all.

Back to office after a neat haircut. My marathon starts at 9PM. Good luck studying.

dont tell me you dont know dum aloo… there is no dum in aloo otherwise! this thread is getting off topic…so we’d better stop or take this offline!
