he taxes the illegals pay is de minimis because they are usually paid very low, a 21k income is prolly only a 1k tax. their net costs to society however will be higher if we look at it in aggregate, for example to the usg, each person costs them 18k.
granted that 21k income prolly generates 3x to society in terms their employer’s revenue, so maybe an additional 40k taxable, so an additional 10k tax received assuming 25% marginal tax from his employer! at 11k tax generated, still a net negative overall.
