Mock 2 question

Questions 11 and 12 seem to contradict each other. One says that regulation reduces service quality, and the other says de-rgulation causes a decrease in service quality. Anyone know what the actual relationship between regulation and service quality is?

Dereg improves service quality because they actually have to compete for your business (think how they’d act at the dept of motor vehicles if it was a commercial enterprise) Unemloyment would rise at first for the same reason, but over time prices would drop for the consumer with deregulation
