Mock Exams

Hello everyone,

I am looking for some advice regarding which practice exams I should be taking. I have all of the CFAI mock exams and am looking for some additional questions. I am thinking about buying the BSAS exam and also the schweser exams. Will these exams provide a similar experience as a a CFA exam?

Also, I only have time to do one of the schweser volumes. Which one will add more value for my studies?

The Schweser exams aren’t that great. Their exams aren’t laid out as well as the CFAI’s and some of the questions are confusing and poorly worded.

Review everything published by the CFAI that you can get your hands on and then move on to the third party providers.

Everybody has said this across all three levels and I don’t get it. The exams are a great preparation tool that aren’t IDENTICAL to the CFAI exams but they’re close enough. If a question has confusing wording then all the better as it makes you think harder! At all three levels I’ve felt the Schweser exams are harder than the real exam (my opinion at L3 based on the past AM tests we have access to).
