I believe SUE is earnings surprise over standard deviation of consensus earnings estimate, which led me to put false because the question stated over surprise sd.
OrlandoMike, you are referring to scaled earnings suprise which takes into account the standard deviation of analyst forecasts. Standardized unexpected earnings is another concept.
Correct, Incorrect…that was a prayer moment
I flipped a coin.
“SUE measures the earnings surprise in terms of the number of standard deviation above or below the consensus earnings estimate.” --so that statement is wrong? since i remember it’s talking about SD of consensus eaarnings suprises?
I went back and forth on that one, for sure.
I remember SUE is correct and it clear says use the std deviation from previous earnings…the RSI is wrong as the stock underperform the index (<1)
