Money Never Sleeps - Trailer

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=873PrTZkLsI Can’t wait to see this!

Yeah, that trailer came out a few weeks ago and I was like wow, this movie might really be good. Then they released a second trailer that shows what the movie is actually going to be like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31pGiWrBhlg It’s basically Shia LeDouche and his unattractive girlfriend (seriously, who did the casting for this movie???) having a whine fest for two hours while Michael Douglas looks bored delivering cheesy line after cheesy line.

I think this would make a better movie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWRSgjDEQy0

Oliver Stone has lost his mojo.

What a shame. This movie could have had such potential.

Shia LeBeouf started sitting for the L1 to prepare him for the role.

Yeah. I also heard a big climax is when he needs to decide on Schweser vs. Stalla.

He faces a dilemma when he realizes that BC isn’t a target school.

I’m definitely going to see this movie. Saw the preview in the theatre. It doesn’t look great, but it looks arrogant–I don’t know why, but when it comes to arrogant money men, I’m like a woman with a d-bag–I find them irresistible.

Best line from the preview…“It’s about doing the right thing.” “It’s about the game.” What a great way to get yourself out of any sticky situation…“It’s about the game.”

God, this movie looks awful. I’m smelling another “Basic Instinct 2” At least Michael Douglas had the sense to stay far far away from that one…

This movie looks absolutely terrible. Of course I’ll see it…but I know I’ll regret it within minutes of the opening credits.

NYC peeps – where’s the best theater to watch this movie? In the Upper East Side, where you’ll be surrounded by fellow yuppies and CFA vs. MBAers, or in Spanish Harlem, where you’ll have the entire theater to yourself?

Loews Village close to NYU

Watching a movie about Wall Street amidst college kids holds no appeal to me. I either want the full yuppiedom experience or I want the joint all to myself.

I’ll go see it at the Battery Park theater. Baller seats there for a baller movie.

Agree, that theater is pretty p!mp. Most BPC residents are families and/or international types though, not sure those are the demographics that most appreciate a story of high finance.
