It was my third time taking it and I have been acustomed to one session being much harder than the other. the first time it was the morning and the second time it was the afternoon. this time however i thought they were similar maybe afternoon was a little harder but not much. what do all of you think? morning harder-afternoon harder- or similar? i’d like to know.
Hands down easier. There was a lot of qualitative straight definition questions and the quantitative questions only tapped the tip of the ice burg. AM was a tad more tricky for me.
Agreed. I’ve read the same thing that the afternoon is supposed to be so much harder, but I thought it was much easier (except econ).
AM easier than PM, no question for me
I found AM much easier. Not due to tricky wording; but due to specific, niche areas of CBOK on the PM. I actually wrote on my exam book ‘‘all of these options would be apt’’ for a few questions. Typical ambiguous options; that make sense AFTER you find out the answer. Does anyone have a definitive answer of how CFAI stops cheating across continents? Are there different exam papers? I assume there is nothing but THE GUILT OF VIOLATING ETHICS!! All in all a very fair exam. If I don’t pass I have no one to blame but myself. The exam was made easier by severe lack of eye candy. About 300 desks; 120 people sitting exams. Not one of them more attractive than the a Maccy D’s worker.
I thought morning was MUCH easier than the afternoon. Although the after Econ was done, the afternoon wasn’t bad at all. The whole test was much easier than any of the practices I’ve taken.
Definitely easier than any of the Schweser exams I took.
Chuckrox, you were in Atlanta correct? What section were you sitting in? I was in C.

PM I was alright with I guess, but didn’t have that same confidence coming out as I did in the morning. I do not want to jinx myself, but I honestly feel that I passed this time (band 10 - Dec '08).
