Morningstar Direct Vs Bloomberg

I will be working with the former from fall, and have been working with the latter up until now.

Would appreciate any comments from anyone that has used both, and from anyone that has experience with Morningstar Direct specifically.

How is Morningstar Direct for searching for funds and for performance and risk analytics for funds? Does it have any news flow specifically related to funds? Also does it hav any news flow with regards, the markets in general?

Morningstar is probably one of the worst things to happen to the financial industry.

^are you refering to morningstar premium service for individual invstors or morningstar direct (a very different beast) for institutions/asset-managers/consultants?

Good point…I am referring to morningstar the retial oriented service that tell people to buy funds becuase they have FIVE STARS!
