mosaic theory

I found the definition for mosaic theory is to use perceptive assembly and analysis of material public and non material non-public information. Please can anyone explain what is meant by material, public, non-material, non-public? Can I have non-material publick + non material non public information and treat it as mosaic theory? Thanks

You should pull out your study materials and read about that. It’s more involved than can be answered easily in this format. Are you taking the exam in 11 days?

basically, material non-public info is NOT allowed. all other combo’s (the other 3) are allowed on their own. public info is fine. and non-public info is fine if it isn’t material … BUT i think they really stretch the definition of non-material in some of their examples/test questions…
