Most important upper body exercise?

i wish i could do deads more than once a week. The lift is way too taxing. I squat 3x a week alternating between back and front squat. Rarely lift upper body(do pull-ups at the end of workouts or barbell rows).

This is exaclty what i’m doing at the moment. have added 45lbs to my back squat and 30lbs to my front in 4 weeks. Hoping to build it up even further over the next 6 weeks.

be careful what you wish for…buying pants becomes a pain in the ass
