This reminds of a story. An ex colleague of mine was also taking the exam in NYC. He mentioned to me that he saw “the guy with the big lips on the video not too far away”. At the time I had no clue what he was talking about and found it weird he would cut me off to mention that while I was giving him my take on an ethics question on the exam. Only years later did I realize he was talking about Bchad from AF.

A couple weeks ago a young man with tattoos on his face apologetically asked for a couple of bean and cheese tacos outside of a Mexican restaurant. He said he was sorry for how he looked. After thirty seconds of chatting I thought he was reasonably intelligent and probably just caught some bad breaks in life…At a ritzy retreat, a spicy yoga teacher asked me what I did for a living. She said I looked like “an author”…hehe I told her I was a mere accountant. But I took it as a compliment.
