It is ironic how liberals and democrats I know were insisting that Comey “must go!! He cost Clinton the election!!!” Now, the tune has changed to “Trump is only firing Comey to protect himself!! Comey shouldn’t have been fired!”

Finally, this guy was corrupt as f@#$. He committed election fraud in late Oct. As I said at that time, it should be death penalty or life of hard labor. Because of the risk/reward profile for election fraud, firing does not work as a deterrent. It may very well happen again in 2020, why not commit election fraud? Nothing happens, just change jobs, no biggie…heck he’s way more popular/infamous now, maybe run for office. Election fraud pays!

He didnt commit election fraud, Chaffetz was the one who leaked the private memo. Chaffetz caused the election fraud. Discussing the ongoing Clinton investigation and not the Trump associates one in that memo is something beyond questionable. Either way he didnt fire Comey because of the Clinton BS, he fired him because he is clearly too close. Subpoenas prove this pretty clearly, have no fear the NY State attorney general apparently has all Preet Bharara’s evidence and Trump cant Pardon his buddies from state level charges/convictions.
So basically WC over the past month can be summarized by “tank”, pictures of tanks, and ACE’s livejournal. Sweet.

I think there are enough red flags at this point to warrant a full investigation of the Trump administrations ties to Russia. Literally half his inner circle has connections and they all lied about those connections.

He didn’t have the balls to recommend prosecution by the Justice Department, even though he told the world on live TV that AT THE VERY LEAST she was criminally negligent. How ironic, he saved Hillary’s butt to save his own, but it still cost him in the end. Coward.

Reading plenty of articles at the time I believe they all stressed that while her behavior was certainly negligent but that any non partisan prosecutor wouldnt take the case because its so hard to prove any criminal intent. I understand the stuff about the TV sideshow and all, but lets be honest thats all smoke and mirrors. He’s fired because hes investigating Trump.
