Mueller Finds No Trump Collusion; Barr Sees No Obstruction Case

remember when they threathened julius caesar and told him he will be arrested, and he crossed the rubicon with an army and chased the senators out! hopefully duterte gets that moment!

The report should make for interesting reading. I’m curious when and in what form it will be released to Congress and to the public.

Two informed takes…

LOL. Love people that post an article or two from obviously biased sources thinking they accomplished anything. I have another totally neutral “informed take” from former attorney Gregg Jarrett below, without checking I’m sure Brietbart agrees, haven’t canvased MSNBC/CNN yet but have a feeling they’ll have a legal expert saying it’s all bad, turns out all these idiotic sources (both sides) are saying the same crap they have been for two years and the whole Mueller report was pretty much irrelevant. Thanks for the enlightening heads up!

I’m not even taking a position one way or another on the report itself, my view is that it was always crap that never mattered as anything other than a bludgeoning instrument to either side and people that sit around dissecting these “informed takes” like they learned something are idiots. The only reason I’m in this thread is because I love watching something blow up in someone’s face and trigger sweaty mental gymnastics a little more than the next guy.

Some reporter on nbc today was asking Sarah Sanders if Trump owes Mueller an apology!!! That’s how delusional they are!

I know the limits of my knowledge and expertise, and that’s why I look at what experts say. The guy who wrote the Times piece drafted the special counsel regulations under which Mueller was operating.

In any case, I think Mueller’s report would make for interesting reading and, in the interests of transparency, it should be made public. Do we all agree on that?

D’s are going to change their tune on transparency.

Pretty sure transparency is a physical impossibility (if done the old-fashioned way) no matter what position is taken. If not please enlighten me :bulb:

Yeah listen, if we’re having a nice level headed discussion about it, I don’t disagree. I’m just saying that the overall commentary on this has been so mangled its impossible to have any productive discussion involving major media outlets of any nature by and large.

Bill Barr, if you’re reading this thank you for your work and please consider the path you are following. Was it not George Washington himself who said “American democracy is greater with free speech and open dialogue.”?

Can we agree that the public should see the Mueller Report and not just the Barr Letter? Can we agree that the American public is better informed if we know the facts?

BTW, in the Senate, McConnell - the most powerful Republican in Congress - just blocked Schumer’s measure to make the Mueller Report public. Make of that what you will.

I’m neutral on it. I can see why one half wants it released. I can see why another believes it has been adequately resolved and going further down the road is allowing what has amounted to a concluded (with no collusion) investigation is unnecessary. I do think at some point here, Dem’s in general have to just bluntly shut up and move on since no collusion was found. They got two years of noise out of it and there’s no obligation for the details of every investigation to be released. People got a two year investigation that amounted to a giant distraction and no collusion was found, so they have to be willing to face up, admit they were wrong if they championed it as otherwise, and let it go.

The problem here is that if Dem’s can’t back off this loss (which I doubt they will), they’re going to slowly morph into the things they mocked and it’ll come around to haunt them come election.

did graham really tell mccain to go to fbi with dosseir

“I think we’ve done - the media, the press - has done one of the great reporting jobs in history, especially of covering a presidency by … most news organizations," some lightweight on CNN

graham flipped to avoid the noose. smart man.

3/22 (oh the irony) was one of the largest milestones in the history of the Republic. The green light is on. The storm is upon us.

BREAKING: DOJ has announced “The largest facilitator of dark web child porn on the planet” was extradited to the US today for trial on charges of aiding and abetting the distribution of over one million images of child pornography

If the Mueller Report exonerates Trump and his gang, then I expect the public will see it shortly. It seems the best way to move the country forward would be to share the report and the underlying facts so that Americans of every political persuasion can know the truth. That would start the national healing.

Of course, if Trump and his gang try to delay or prevent the release of the Mueller Report, which supposedly exonerates him, then what does that tell you?

BTW, Democrats in the House have requested the full Mueller Report from Barr and want it by April 2. In the near future, Barr and / or Mueller will be questioned by the House. Time will tell.

^ It’s not really that simple. A lot of unrelated dirt on anybody gets dug up in an investigation that is often sensitive in nature. From what I understand, McConnell was pretty clear in his reasoning, saying that Barr and Mueller were working together to determine what was appropriate to release for the public (at their request). The funny part is Schumer trying to pull a symbolic underhand move then the press framing it as some McConnell cover up.

'But McConnell objected, noting that Attorney General William Barr is working with Mueller to determine what in his report can be released publicly and what cannot.

“The special counsel and the Justice Department ought to be allowed to finish their work in a professional manner,” McConnell said. “To date, the attorney general has followed through on his commitments to Congress. One of those commitments is that he intends to release as much information as possible.”’

The obvious intent is to release what they can after review. This is standard procedure. Dem’s are working overtime after getting smoked on this one playing a gambit and it’s obvious on both sides of the aisle.
