I know this has been discussed before without a resolution. There is a question from 2005 that has separate inflation rates for living and educational expenses. Solution in Schweser doesnt take them into account separately (Practice Exam Volume 2). Do we have a consensus on this?
Used education for education expenses.
if it applies to a single portoflio return calc schweser does a blended inflation rate. but if its something like for a foundation or whatever then use the applicable inflation rate for that (which is likely to be different than the general inflation rate).
