I can’t believe that. I start doing book 7 since I have done two book 6 tests (leave 1 set for final days) and mock and free sample, and I was quick shock to score 48/60 (80%) in the first test of book 7 My book 6 and mock score is straight 40/60 except the PM mock got up to 75%. Frankly I was hesitant to do book 7 since I read here people say how weird book 7 is. But I got no other tests to do from now to final days. Actually I think the questions in book 7 is very valid, I would think it is reasonably if in real test we are presented with questions like those, especially CFAI’s unpredictability. Hopefully it is reflection of my improvement in learning curve.
“Hopefully it is reflection of my improvement in learning curve.” Or A more likely scenario: It was the Guinness. Nice job, Irishgyy.
Nicely done, keep up the good work.
Irishgyy, I have the same predicament where i am running out of tests and am doing slightly better than the Book 6’s (or not as bad as i thought)… Not that I am passing them but I am in the 60’s which shocks me… You sound like you are in good shape…
yes Irish, your smarter than us. your superior. please tell me more about your problems on how you are scoring too high on the practice exams.
Irishgyy, you so clever. Take you home!I make you fish ball soup!Fish ball!
I just got a 72 in book 7, exam 1 AM. The score was higher than my book 6 scores, but I can only attribute it to the extra studying I’ve done since then… In terms of difficulty, there’s no way the real deal will be as tough as book 7. Some of these questions have three different statements that need to be evaluated in each answer choice. The vignette’s are so dense with information and have various curveballs as well. Does book 7 have value in it? Of course. I see it as slightly more difficult than book 6, but you can’t go wrong over-preparing and then being relieved come exam time.
